DevOps Technical Lead

Job Description

• Leads software development efforts from a technology perspective. This involves being Intimately involved with all technical activities within the team (software development life cycle activities, code reviews, research, etc.)
• Identifies the appropriate software architecture based on the requirements and design elements.
• Work effectively as a Product Owner for the team in a Scrum Model – as a liaison between Product Management, Architect, and the team.
• Maintains, reviews, and evolves software architecture documents based on evolving system requirements and industry trends and technologies.
• Provides work leadership, training, and technical guidance to Software Engineer's job requirements.
• The successful candidate is used to wearing multiple hats, highly motivated, quality conscious with strong attention to detail, and exhibits a history of achievement in their career to date.
• Bachelor/master’s degree with 4 plus years of relevant experience.
• Has worked on deploying containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with Helm charts for K8S and scripting languages like Bash, Shell, Python, Docker, and Docker Compose.
• Has worked on robust logging and monitoring systems to track system health, troubleshoot issues, and provide insights for performance improvement.
• Good to know tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, etc.
• knows about AWS.
• Has knowledge and understanding of best practices for IaC using tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc.
• Design, create, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating deployment, testing, and monitoring of applications and microservices.
• Has decent knowledge of Configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, and Ansible. Has In-depth Knowledge of Linux and/or Windows OS.
• Has Knowledge of SCM tools like Git, bitbucket, etc.
