Job Description

The IT manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of the organization's information technology, infrastructure, and projects.

Requirements

  • Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
  • Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
  • Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.
  • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.
  • Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT.
  • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
  • Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance.
  • Develop and implement policies related to network security, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure.
  • Analyze resource utilization and develop strategies to optimize performance.
  • Establish, measure, and define IT goals and maintain an IT roadmap.
  • Monitor and analyze the success of IT initiatives and projects and continually develop and evaluate new technologies and tools for the company.
  • Direct the activities of the help desk to ensure the IT needs of users are met.
  • Manage development projects to integrate new technologies into existing systems.
  • Perform ongoing support and maintenance of all hardware, software, and network components.
  • Establish a security policy to protect company information and resources.
  • Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
  • Build long-term relationships with outside vendors for IT-related products and services.
  • Preserve assets, information security, and control structures.
  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness for the IT department.
  • Manages and hires staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training new employees.
  • Assisting in establishing a Project Management Office to oversee multiple projects.
  • Experience on ITIL, Microsoft O365 Suite.
  • Experience in handling Audit requirements (Internal/External) for the IT Department.
  • Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.
  • Expertise in data center management and data governance.
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
  • People Management Skills.
  • Understanding of ticketing and Alert Management Systems.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of IT management experience.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
